Come hear a lecture on James Joyce's Finnegans Wake. John "Cucaburr" O'Connor will do an exegesis on page 300 to the top of 302 of the Penguin Classic edition of the volume. In it you will learn of Yeats' system whereby each of us is made up of the sun and the moon yet become the fixed stars and the planets. And how Joyce uses trigonometry and quaternions going to the utmost effort to see around the perdition created by Cromwell. Also like Blake comparing England to Jerusalem Joyce compares Dublin to this mystical city. So come join us on our "airish chaunting car" on the rocky road to Dublin.
