Arts Collection
Library patrons are now able to check out art kits. Most kits will circulate with an instructional book, kit specific media and information about how to access our online learning resource, Creative Bug!
Art kits can be borrowed for 3 weeks, and renewed once if no one else is waiting. Holds can be placed on kits that are currently checked out. Below are the art kits that are currently included in the collection. Click on the image to view in our catalog and place a hold.
Most kits contains the basics to get you started. Additional media such as paper, Speedycarve printmaking blocks and wood for pyrography are available for purchase. Prices are:
watercolor paper - $.10/sheet
Japanese calligraphy paper - $.10/sheet
practice calligraphy paper - $.10/sheet
Speedycarve printmaking blocks - $2/block
4”x4” wood square for wood burning - $.25
