True Crime: Murder and Mayhem with the Connecticut Museum

True Crime: Murder and Mayhem in the Museum

Forgeries, theft, murder: the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History is full of artifacts that tell stories of long-ago crime and punishment. This presentation uncovers stories from Connecticut’s past – and shows how our modern obsession with the true crime genre isn’t so modern after all.

Christina Rewinski is a Museum Educator at the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History. She develops and teaches educational programs for school and adult audiences. Christina has formerly worked at a number of Connecticut museums and holds a B.A. in English from Skidmore College and an M.A. in Museum Education from Tufts University.
