Enfield Culture and Arts Commission invites you to Zoom into a Ragtime concert with Paul Bisaccia. Paul Bisaccia presents a concert of exciting American Ragtime featuring the King of Ragtime – Scott Joplin (The Entertainer and Maple Leaf Rag) as well as ragtime by George Gershwin.
Also included will be some real Ragtime Lullabies including Solace by Joplin and a couple famous lullabies – Send in the the Clowns, and Gershwin’s Summertime.
Paul will include his famous anecdotes and stories to make the men who made the music come alive for an evening. Irving Berlin’s Puttin’ on the Ritz and the Spaghetti Rag as well as Billy Joel’s Root Beer Rag will also be featured – a concert of Rousing American Ragtime! As an added bonus there will be a wide screen on stage presenting a live close up of the pianist’s hands so everyone will have a special view.
