Join Peter Lehndorff and Susan Hill for an evening of Funny Folk Songs: Then and Now a concert and presentation of original humorous songs, funny folk ditties and old nonsense fiddle tunes. They will share some of the artists and songs that made us laugh growing up and amused our ancestors such as Yankee Doodle Dandy, Buffalo Gals, Old Joe Clark, The Smothers Brothers, and Woody Guthrie. The audience will be encouraged to sing along...if they aren't laughing too hard.
Peter Lehndorff is an award winning songwriter and guitarist whose songs have been heard on NPR, CarTalk and college radio stations. Susan Hill is a prize-winning old time fiddler for community dances, historic reenactments and a ukulele instructor at senior centers in Connecticut.
